Abigail Guillot

Abigail Guillot, 46, of Lake Charles died at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 24, 2010 in a local hospital.


Mrs. Guillot was born in Lake Charles on May 28, 1964 and was raised in Texas. She had lived in Ragley for the past nine years with her husband and farm animals. Mrs. Guillot was a practicing LPN and enjoyed taking care of the sick.


Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 25 years, Joey Guillot of Ragley; her father, Emery LeDoux and step mother, Beulah of Devers, TX; father-in-law, Jay Guillot of Ragley; four siblings, Lena Morris of Sulphur, James LeDoux of Devers, TX, Wade LeDoux of Sulphur, and Jason Manuel of Ragley; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Manuel and her mother-in-law, Boots Guillot.


A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur, LA. The Rev. Steve James will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM in Johnson Funeral Home.

  1. I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss of your loving wife. There are truly no words to soothe or take away the pain, the pain is the love you have for her. Three words, FAITH,FAMILY, FRIENDS, that is what will see you through Joey. I know it may not seem like it right now, but it will farther down the road. Your and Abby are in my thoughts prayers.

  5. My favorite memory of Aunt Abby was going she her every summer since I was little and spending time with her going to the library and just doing everything i could with her I love her very much and I will see her one day I love you Aunt abby R.I.P Love Scotty

  6. She will be very very missed she was always there for me when i needed someone and for mine and scotts daughters. She has been there for every event we had for either us or our girls. I love her and I will miss her very very much.
