Alice Janet Harris, 70, of Lake Charles, died Monday December 6, 2010 in a local hospital.
Alice was born December 24, 1939 in Lake Charles. She was a longtime and active member of First Presbyterian Church and the Enterprise Club of Lake Charles. She was always helping others and enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy Lee Richardson Guidry and her husband, George Curtis Harris. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Harris Paus and husband Christopher Robert of Denton, TX.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Friday December 10, 2010 with a Memorial Service to be held at 2:00 PM. Pastor Fred Seay will officiate.

I will always remember Janet and George. I met them several years back when they called me to list their home and help them find a lot to build a home. We had alot of laughs and fun over the years. I will truly miss them both.
