Barbara Sue went to school together from grade 1 – 12. She was a beautiful woman, bright and funny. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Rest with Jesus, Barbara Sue.
Bobbie you were a year behind me at Merryville and I haven't seen you since the year you graduated. I can truly say that you were always honest in dealing with others. I don't think there was an ounce of pretension in your body. I've thought of you many times in the past 50 years and always hoped that you were doing well. I was very sad when the first thing I had heard about you since school was your passing away. I'm sure that you're in a better place now. Take care of yourself and keep an eye out for those of us who are still around. I miss you, girl.Tom
Granny – Izzy and Jacob miss you already, but we know now you aren't in any pain and happy. We love you.
Herb – We are so sorry to read about your mom's passing. May Our Lord surround you and your family with His peace and give you strength during the coming days. Our prayers are with you.
I am truely blessed to have had you in my life. Our friendship meant more than could ever be imagined. You will be missed greatly. My prayers are with the family. I love you.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother, grandmother friend. I graduated with Barbara in 1962. Very likeable person. We all were like family at our school. I will nerver forget when I was so shy in the first grade and she came up to me and wanted to be my friend. She will surely be missed. I will always remember her. May God bless her her family.
My mother just called me and told me of the very sad news.Your mom looked exactly how I remembered her. I remember all of the fun times we had at the Western Electric picnics with Mr. Herbie and Mrs. Bobbie. Herbie, Kevin, Keith, Angel and Tina, know you are in my thoughts and prayers. We lost a very special person in your mother.Cordially,Bobby Hayden JrHouma, LA
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Barbara Sue. When we were very youg we lived across the street from each other and played together every day…I thought she was wonderful! She moved to the country and started first grade a year ahead of me and time sent us in different directions. She was a beautiful and vivacious person. I know she will be greatly missed.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you with the loss of your mother. My husband and I went to MHS with Barbara Sue and her dear friend Vera. We haven't seen her since graduating but I still remember her loving, lively spirit. We were all in the band together, infact we were all three majorettes, so we took many fun trips to ball games and shared a lot of good times, with your mom being the life of the festivities. A friend sent me this notice and I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of all of you and my wish we had stayed a little closer to each other over the years. Please give Vera our love and just think, you will all have that special beautiful angel on your shoulders. What a wonderful thought. Fondly, Robert and Doris Burr
Our prayers are with you all during this time of loss. God Bless, Alice and Family
Sitting here thinking about the service today and how it would have made Bobbie laugh. I feel extremely privileged to have had her in my life. She was a hard worker, loving person and as straight forward as they can come. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. I am going to miss her answering the phone and yelling for Melvin. She will deinitely be missed by many. May God watch over all of her family now and forever.
SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF BARBARA SUE. WE WERE IN FIRST GRADE TOGETHER BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN HER SINCE HIGH SCHOOL DAYS. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HER FAMILY.
There wasn't a time when I saw Bobbie that she didn't have a GREAT joke to share….I still can't believe you are gone…..you will be truly missed! (especially your chicken – BEST in Texas and Louisiana!)
This is Donna, I live across the street from Ms. Bobbie. My heart is so broken for your loss. I can't believe I have to look out my kitchen window never see her again! I dearly loved Ms. Bobbie I will miss my visits with her bringing her BBQ. I will be praying for your family for your great loss. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.
Tina Lance-You are in my prayers during this difficult time.
Tina,I am praying for you and your whole family. I found this prayer about mothers and I wanted to share it with you.Dear Lord, today I turn to you to give you thanks for my mother. With your own gift of life, she bore me in her womb and gave me life. She tenderly, patiently cared for me and taught me to walk and talk. She read to me and made me laugh. No one delighted in my successes more; no one could comfort me better in my failures. I am so grateful for how she mothered me and mentored me, and even disciplined me. Lord, relying on your promises to us, I turn to you in trust that my mother is with you and that she is enjoying your loving embrace. You alone know how she loved the best she could and how she faithfully endured the struggles that she faced. You know the graces you gave her and you know the grace she was for me and for so many. For all the ways she truly loved the way you loved her, please reward her, Lord. May she enjoy the communion of all her family and friends who are with you.Lord, I know my mothers love for us will continue in heaven. I ask you that you might listen to her fervent prayers for us. Help me to grow into a new and deeper relationship with my mother now, as I long for the day when we will both meet in your embrace – freed from all that might have hindered our relationship on earth, knowing and understanding everything we did not know or understand on this earth.I ask you this with faith in the resurrection, trusting my mother's love, and desiring that she know my love for her. I ask you this, in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior forever and ever. Amen!
We already miss you so much!

Your moma was always like a moma to me around the Hardware Store. She would tell me to get my butt to school! She would also sneak me some petty cash every now and again and wouldn't tell dad if I was late to work. If you wanted the truth, Miss Bobbie would give it to you straight! She was a hard working, loyal and wonderful friend to me and my family. She will be greatly missed by us all. You all remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God's comfort and peace be with all of you.
