Brenneth Cormier, 53, of Lake Charles died at 8:32 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in a local hospital.
Mr. Cormier was born on November 21, 1956 in Crowley and lived in Lake Charles for over 50 years. He was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School. Mr. Cormier was assistant manager of Hokus Pokus Liquors on Broad Street for 16 years.
He is survived by his mother, Georgie Higginbotham Cormier of Lake Charles; a brother, Ramby Cormier of Lake Charles; four aunts, Sybil LeJeune, Joyce LeBleu, Winnie Guidry, and Jenny Bergeron.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will be in Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, LA. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 noon until 10:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
