Carlo LaRocca, 89, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. Mr. LaRocca was born in Lake Charles November 25, 1921. He married Nora Mae Duhon March 1, 1941 and was married for 62 years.
Carlo served in the United States Army in World War II in both Germany and The South Pacific. He was a truck farmer most of his life. In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and supplying family and friends with produce.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, David (Darlene) LaRocca, Joe (Becky) LaRocca and Tommy LaRocca; two daughters, Rose (Chris) Breaux, Mary (Johnny) Segura; daughter-in-law, Mary LaRocca; one sister, Lena Mosca; 17grandchildren and numerous great and great -great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nora Mae LaRocca and two sons, Ernie Ray LaRocca and Anthony Joseph (AJ) LaRocca; brother Joe LaRocca and grandson, Danny LaRocca.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:30AM at Christ the King Catholic Church. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Prien Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Johnson Funeral Home Sunday from 3PM-9PM with a scripture service at 6PM and a rosary at 7PM, and will continue Monday at 8AM until time of service.

We only know of you Carlo through your beautiful, loving and caring daughter, Mary. For that which you have instilled in her we are very proud of you. Thank you for blessing our lives with her friendship. We will meet you in our future. Send your laughter and love from heaven as we toss kisses upwards to you.
