Courtney Piper Lambert, 39, of Westlake passed away at 10:13 AM on Monday, December 26, 2022 in a local hospital.
Courtney was born on July 31, 1983 in Lake Charles where she was raised until moving to Pearland, TX and eventually to Moss Bluff in 1997. She married the love of her life and moved to Westlake to raise their son. She was a strong woman of faith who came to love Jehovah and became a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Westlake.
She was known as a loving and devoted wife and mom and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband who was blessed to be married to her for 19 years on the 29th of December, Travis Lambert of Westlake; beloved son, Caleb Thomas Lambert of Westlake; step son, Travis Lambert II (Michelle) of Baton Rouge; mother, Dianna Piper of Westlake; sister, Patsy Corpening (Malcolm) of Moss Bluff; nieces, Evoulette and Piper; nephew, Calvin; and many additional extended family members who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Big T” Piper; maternal grandparents, Joy Richard, Warner “Sonny” Richard, and Sybil Richard; and paternal grandparents, Ace and Patsy Harris.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Westlake. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin in the Kingdom Hall from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the countless medical staff that were by Courtney’s side all of her years of battling several medical conditions.
