Dawn Chapman Conner
June 7, 1946 ~ March 21, 2011
Mrs. Dawn Marie Conner, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in her residence. She was a native of Lansing, MI and was a resident of Westlake for 25 years before moving to Lake Charles.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Conner of Westlake, Heather Fontenot of Westlake, and Trisha Mier (Chris) of Lake Charles; her mother, Frankie Chapman of Lake Charles; and four grandchildren, Hanna Walker, Gabrielle Barnes, Macy Mier, and Conner Mier. Preceding her in death was her father, Dr. Harold Chapman.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 28, 2011, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Nathan Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Monday, March 28, from 8 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
