  1. Jim…(Skip) so sorry to hear about your Mom…will keep you and your family in our prayers…not sure you even remember the old neighborhood friends..Your Mom was certainly a strong lady…Paulette Mouton LaFleur

  2. Mrs. Melton was such a remarkable woman. I loved visiting with her and I'm so happy to see that she was alive for her great-granddaughter's birth. She always bragged about her granddaughter Carmelita (I hope you know how special you were to your grandmother). I will be praying for Mrs. Melton, I know she is happy to be reunited with her husband and son.

  3. Ms. Della was my special friend and the epitome of God's loveliness. She was beautiful in life and beautiful in death. How she loved you all through the precious stories she continuously shared. I am so glad that Ms. Della graced my life. With love,Paula Simien

  4. She was such a sweet loving person. I met her when she was in physical therapy. She was such a joy to talk to and would make us all laugh. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

  5. Sweet, sweet Della will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. She was such an inspiration to so many; and her life was a true testament of the fruits of the spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

  6. To the Melton Family,I grew up, the youngest of six children in the Guzzino family. I have very fond memories of Della Mae, as we all called her, laughing, telling stories, and just enjoying life with her family and ours together! My mother bought the wonderful World Book encyclopedia's from her and then after I got married and started my family; I bought my first set from Della Mae too!I admire Della for her poise, elegant nature, and love of 'all things good.'My thoughts and prayers will be the entire family.Sincerely,Mary Guzzino Wilkinson
