Donald Boulet, Sr.

Donald Arlie Boulet, Sr., 90, died on Monday, November 28, 2011 in a Crowley hospital.

Mr. Boulet was born December 1, 1920 in Indian Bayou, LA and lived in Lake Charles for most of his adult life. He served his country for five years in the U.S. Infantry and the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Mr. Boulet worked as an operator at Cities Service for a number of years. He was a member of the Church of God.

Mr. Boulet is survived by his wife of 69 years, Wanda Mae Murrell Boulet; sisters-in law, Ellender Boudreaux, Mildred Meaux and Joyce Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Oliver, Randall and Donnie Boulet.

His funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
