Elizabeth Ola Trahan, 53, of Lake Charles died at 10:46 PM Saturday, August 27, 2011 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Trahan was born in Oakdale, Louisiana and has lived in the Lake Charles and Lafayette area for the past seven years. She spent most of her life growing up in the Abbeville area. She worked for several years as a currier delivering medical supplies to various hospitals and clinics. Mrs. Trahan was of the catholic faith. She enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, movies and puzzles.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by one son Michael Harrington of Arkansas, two granddaughters: Mia and Aliyah Harrington, one sister Billie Scalisi and her husband Jerry of Lake Charles, two brothers Greg Butler and William Hoy both of Lake Charles, nephews Mike and Phillip Scalisi, and Greg Butler, two great nieces Baylee Scalici and Gracie Butler, and one great nephew Greg Butler.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder, Louisiana. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
