Ella Mae Cormier

Mrs. Ella Mae Cormier, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in her residence. She was a resident of Ragley and a member of Gillis Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. Mrs. Cormier was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Ann Abney and husband Robert of Shreveport; two sons, Horace Lee Cormier and wife Sylvia of Ragley, Billy Glenn Cormier and wife Marjorie of Lake Charles; one sister, Sybill Harrington of Crowley; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, one great great great grandchild.

Mrs. Cormier is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Cormier; one son, Donald Ray Cormier; two daughters, Ella Jean Cooley, Dru Martin; one grandson, Spencer L. Martin; one great-grandchild, Lakeyn Jane`Carlin.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. David Lilley will officiate. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue Thursday at 8:00 AM until time of service.
