  2. I have a lot of fond memories of Mr. Wicks and the rest of our families growing up together, going to the beach or Prien Lake Park and sharing holidays like the Fourth of July and New Year's Day. Mr. Wicks was always quick with a joke or a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

  5. Was so sorry to hear about Eugene…We were at McNeese and in the Delta Theta Chi Fraternity there together…I always described Eugene as a genteel guy…He was so soft spoken, and gentle…I was so fortunate to have visited with him on one of my last trips to Lake Charles…He was his usual self…smiling, encouraging, optimistic. He was indeed a special guy, and I'll miss him. My thoughts will be with you all. Fondly… Darrell Ardoin Wasington, D.C.

  6. We were saddened to hear of Gene's death. We know that it has been a difficult time for the two of you in recent months. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and may light perpectual shine upon Gene.Pat Larry Rock
