Inez Derouen LaRocca

Inez Ann Derouen LaRocca, 82, of Lake Charles passed away at 3:12 AM, Sunday, July 17, 2011 in her residence.
She was a native of Bell City and lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons: Randall J. LaRocca and wife Debbie of Lake Charles, and Steve C. LaRocca and wife Glenda of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren; Shelly Knox and husband Steve, Joey Thibodeaux and wife Clarissa, Tony LaRocca and wife Jenny, Kandi, Stephanie, and Derrick LaRocca, Casey Prudhomme, Emily and Jeff Whatley, and numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Pervis Derouen and wife Peggy. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe LaRocca and son, Anthony LaRocca.
Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM, and continue from 9:00 AM until time of service, Tuesday, in the funeral home.

I am so sorry about your loss. Ms Inez will be in my prayers. Even though I only met her one time, I know she was a very special lady and she will be missed. It is sad that she had to suffer so much but she is now in God's hands. Love you all very much.
I know you know how wonderful our lives were with Inez in them. Her smile will be in my heart forever. Love you all
I will always thing kindly of Ms. Inez. What I most remember is her enjoying time with all of her family. Crawfish boils and Christmas dinners were always more fun with her. RIP, Ms. Inez.
She was a wonderful woman and mother in law. She will always be missed but she will always be in my heart.
So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and I loved her very much.
