Janell Vige, 73, of Lake Charles died at 8:30 PM on Monday, April 25, 2011 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Vige was born on November 28, 1937 in Sunset, LA and lived the last 40 years in Moss Bluff. She was a graduate of Sunset High School. Mrs. Vige was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Moss Bluff.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Garland Vige; three children, Keith Vige of Moss Bluff, Cindy Dickson of Lake Charles, and Lamont Vige of Moss Bluff; four siblings, Robert Lavergne of Metairie, James Lavergne of Lafayette, Victor Lavergne of Carencro, LA and Grace Shoop of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Devon and Caitlyn Toedter and Ryan and Sean Dickson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Serville and Eldine Lavergne.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the First Apostolic Church in Moss Bluff. The Rev. Jon Hare will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services in the church.
Brother Vige, and Family: I am sorry to see that Sister Vige has passed away. She was a truly kind woman. I know that she made Heaven her home! I love you all.
