Jason Ray Leger

Jason Ray Leger, 33, of Abbeville, LA died on Thursday, October 21, 2010.

Jason was born June 8, 1977 in Lake Charles, LA. He attended M. J. Kaufman Elementary School and LaGrange Senior High School. He lived in Abbeville for the past five years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Willie Ray and Linda Leger of Lake Charles; daughter, Taylor Leger of Alabama; son, Ja'vion Ray Leger of Abbeville, LA; sister, Andrea Leger of Abbeville and ten aunts, nine uncles, nieces and nephews, Kodi and Ashley Savoy and William and Heather Leger and numerous cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Erma Leger and Steve and Frances Abshire.

His funeral service will be 10:00 AM on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Garry Mann will officiate. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, LA. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
