Jeanette Kuuipo Richardson

January 2, 1962 ~ March 15, 2024

Jeanette Kuuipo Richardson, 62, of Lake Charles, LA passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at her residence. Jeanette was born on January 2, 1962 on Midway Island, Hawaii to David and Jalna Gomes.

Jeanette-from Anne Marie Allier-France:
A little good woman with big arms that surrounded the whole family.
She welcomed us with open arms and I think of the deep sorrow of Rémi whom she had adopted from her children Heather, Joe, Meghan, David and her grandchildren Amira Maeli and Matt
In these moments, I curse the distance that separates us but my heart crosses the Atlantic, and the Pacific.
I won’t forget all the moments spent together.
She was an island.
In this ocean where the ultimate belief is individual success at any cost, meeting this person who thinks above all of others, who knows that deep down doing without others has no point, who knows how to welcome and who knows to love…….
I had the chance to stop off on this island to make a house.
I was welcomed and loved and I too welcomed and loved.
This is the most beautiful thing in life and we would like it to never end, but so much sorrow.
This beautiful soul wanted to feed the world with baked goods, the biggest smile always came when she headed someone a plate.

Those left to cherish her memory are her fiancé; Dennis Bennett, children; Joseph Heacook III, Heather Liotard (Remi), David Heacook (Gricelda), Meghan Heacook, grandchildren; Maeli Liotard, Mattias Liotard and Amira Heacook.
A celebration of life is to be held:Saturday March 30, 2024 from 10:00am to 5:00pm, people may come and go as they please.
At the house of Heather and Rémi Liotard:
2214 Ernest Street,
Lake Charles, LA 70601.
The family has entrusted cremation arrangements to Johnson Funeral Home.
