  6. I met Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Carolyn 26 years ago when I became friends with Sheila. Sheila and I were in college and I was in and out of the Shelton home on a regular basis. Through the years, Jimmy and Carolyn always treated me like family. Mr. Jimmy would always give me a warm smile and take time to say hello from his favorite chair in the living room. I remember many times when Jimmy would return home from work and he'd give a $5 bill to Sheila, so she and I could enjoy some ice cream yogurt at our favorite ice cream shop. I will miss Mr. Jimmy and the sparkle in his kind eyes. Jimmy's memory will live-on through his family and all who loved him.

  10. Jimmy and I have many set-up memories together. Wal-mart was always nice enough to sent us together ( while we both worked in Lake Charles ) to the far away sets. There always seem to be a fishing hole nearby for us to find. We also had some good fishing trips together in Lake Charles and Chicot Lake , but now he is fishing the Crystal Lake with the best fisherman of all.

  12. Our time together was very brief but it was quality time that left good memories. I saw the love shared by you and your family. Only God could show more love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Liz, Jeremy, Don and I will cherish the memory of you sitting in our home for Sheila's birthday party. We will miss your smile.

  13. Sheila, No words can take away the pain and emptiness you are feeling inside. To lose such a precious family member is very difficult. There will come a time when the pain will ease off and fond memories of your Dad will take their place. I remember the first time I meet your Dad. He took Matt and I in his backyard and showed us his trees/plants and other things with great pride. He seemed to have such a gentle spirit, a trait you have inherited from him. I thank him for parenting such a great daughter who is my dear friend. May he rest in peace. Prayers to you and your family.

  14. Shelia, I am so sorry. You and your family are in my prayers. I know how much you love your dad. That love stays with you. You were a wonderful daughter. Love you.

  15. We will always remeber being neighbors in Somerset, Ky.(Friends for 35 wonderful years) We are going to miss you very much. We know you are with the Lord and in no pain. Rest in Peace dear friend.

  16. When I was a little girl and Jimmy joined our family he immediately became someone I could look up to. He was so tall and handsome and he always had a ready smile and a joke! And, to make it even more awesome, he drove a white convertible. Jimmy tutored me through Algebra, helped me understand the government so I could get through Civics and even proofread my English papers. He was a blessing in my life then and he continued to be a blessing throughout the 47 years I knew him. I know he has a special place in heaven with special angels and he will be waiting for the rest of us to join him. And even though physically, he shrunk through his last years, he will always stand tall and handsome in my mind. I love you all.
