Kathleen A. Hester

Kathleen A. Hester, age 77, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010, at a Jennings hospital.

She was a retired executive secretary for many years for Mr. Don Fontenot with Fontenot Toyota.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Roscoe Wayne Hester.

Survivors include her three daughters, Wendy Thornton and husband, Kenneth of Lake Charles, Jan Thibodeaux Rode and companion, Bo Rawlings of LeBlanc, and Laura Comeaux of Riverside, CA; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Kristie Prejean will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday, from 8 a.m. until time of service.
