Keelan Beridon Monfore

Keelan Beridon Monfore, 39, a loving husband and father, passed away on May 25, 2011.
He was born in Alexandria, LA and resided in Ragley. He was an accomplished oilfield mechanic employed by Stone Energy. Keelan loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a horseman and an aspiring cattle rancher. Keelan was a great friend to many and his generosity touched countless lives. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Stutes Monfore; three children, Grace Caroline, Marshall, and Alidia; his birth parents, Sarah Hammonds Lora of Lake Charles and Dennis Aycock of Jacksonville, FL; his adoptive parents, David and Lynn Monfore of Carlyss and John Beridon of Houston; two brothers, Matthew Beridon and wife Melissa of Sulphur and Solomon Shirley and wife Paula of Reeves; and one sister, Erin Aycock of Deville, LA; his grandmothers, Charlotte Hammonds of Lake Charles and Pat Aycock of Jacksonville, FL; his grandfather, Roy Monfore of Mena, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 3, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Glenn Ducharme, Pastor of Reeves Bible Church, will be officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of services.

I know you proably don't know us very well, but we were friends of Keelans. We are Max's sister and brother-in-law from Reeves. Our hearts go out to you and your kids. Keelan was such a good man. He was always so happy with a ready smile on his face. He was always ready to help you with anything you needed. I want you to know that he was very proud of you and the kids. He was always talking about you and the kids to Randy. I know he will truly be missed by all. If you would ever need anything, we live right down the road, please don't hesitate to ask. We would be more than willing to help you.
Im so sorry to hear about Keelan. My prayers are with his family. Funny story: just gonna say fireworks inside the cab of a tractor at Henderson Implement…We had lots of laughs. He will be missed.
It is with great sadness that I read of Keelan's passing. It has been a number of years since I have seen Keelan, so I have no idea what happened, but my heart is truly broken to read this. Keelan and I worked together years ago and I really thought the world of him. My prayers are with all of his family during this time of such tremendous loss. May God give you His precious peace that surpasses all human understanding and His strength that alone can sustain you through this most difficult time. God bless and comfort each of you…

Jess, I can't even begin to express my sympathy for you and your family. Sometimes we don't understand God's plans for us; but, know that he has great plans for Keelan. Although I knownothing about his death, I just wanted to say I'm sorry to you and your family, and that I have been praying for you since I read the obituary in the paper.
