Memories Timeline

  1. I had wanted to say something at the service but I knew I couldn't.Mrs.Hillman (Granny)was my mother in law.She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. I lost my mother 10 years ago and though she never tried to take her place she was there for me in so many ways. She was also their for kids. After she came to live with us a little over 2 years ago we got even closer. One day in the past 6 months or so she was telling me how she could never repay me for everything I did for her. I said Granny you do not owe me anything there is not any amount of money or material possession you could give me.Consider your son Matthew your gift to me.Without you he wouldn't be here to be my wonderful loving husband and father. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said thank you, and I love you, Karen. I said I love you too and she seemed satisfied and happy.Rest in pain free peace Granny. You will never know how many lives you touched and how many people loved you. I love you….until we see each other again in Heaven.
