Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Loved my cousin, Leonard, very much. Have such good memories of us growing up. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

  2. Daphne, I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are being lifted for you and your family. God Bless you all.

  3. I want to offer my condolences to the Richard family. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. . So painful death is that even Jesus, when Lazarus died, "gave way to tears"(John 11: 35). It pains our creator, too, and he has promise to bring our love one back to life. At Hosea 13:14 our Creator says "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them" then "he will swallow up death forever "(Isaiah 25:8). I hope these words give you comfort

  4. Leonard Gene was one of my favorite people. He always greeted me with a big smile and hug – which will be missed very, very much. There were lots of great laughs and rip-roaring good times. Wonderful memories! While hearts ache and our little world is very sad, the place Leonard Gene has gone to, there is no sadness. In fact, I can imagine him stirring things up a little bit while spreading joy and laughter. He shall be missed but forever remembered. Chief Seattle said "There is no death, only a change of worlds." With love forever and forever….Landry

  5. Vera, Paula, and Wayne; Leonard was one of my little brothers in the neighborhood. I will always remember his smiling face and good hearted nature. My heart goes out to you.I hope ya'll can find comfort in knowing he suffers no more.Love ya'll and miss you. Jimmy

  6. Coach Leonard Richard was our assistant baseball coach for the Mid-City Little League Owls team during the summer of 1977. I was saddened to read today that he passed. Both he and Mgr Reggie Herpin were excellent role models for 13-15 year old boys. They not only taught us fundamental baseball skills, but also helped shape our development as teenagers off the diamond. I remember Coach Richard being a hard worker with an optimistic spirit. He always had us looking on the bright side when faced with adversity. Good coaches leave a lasting impression that you never forget as you grow older, and he was certainly a great coach and model citizen. Prayers up for the Richard Family! God bless!

  7. Daphne, I just learned of your tragic loss. John's and my heart are full of sadness for you and Leonard's family. Please know that we have you and the family and friends in our prayers. Hugs……… Terry and John Assunto

  8. I am very sorry to learn of Leonards' passing. He was a friend whom I enjoyed being around. My condolences to his family.
