Lillie Marie Duplein, 81, of Lake Charles died at 4:05 PM on Friday, October 15, 2010 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Duplein was born on August 24, 1929 in Leroy, LA and was a graduate of Indian Bayou High School. She lived the rest of her life in Lake Charles. Mrs. Duplein was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion W.B. Williamson Post #1. She was also a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas and Dale Duplein both of Lake Charles; a grandson, Michael Naquin of Moss Bluff; two great grandchildren, Kyla and Wyatt Naquin both of Moss Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Duplein and eight siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 18, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
On behalf of the Aguillard family, we offer our deepest sympathies at the passing of Mrs. Lillie. She was a wonderful friend and the greatest neighbor to all of us, but mostly to our mother, Mrs. Lizzie Aguillard. Our mother loved Lillie! We will keep you in our prayers.
