Mrs. Evelyn Louine Hebert passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, she was born December 27, 1946 to LC Ross and Mamie Ross. Mrs. Hebert was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church and a member of the ACTS movement.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Ray Hebert; four children, Sabrina Reynolds and husband George Reynolds, Shane Hebert and wife Michele, Samantha Hebert and husband Scott Johnson, Spencer Hebert and wife Heather Hebert; eight grandchildren, Alexis Doucet, Tanner Hebert, Rhett Hebert, Ethan Johnson, Anna Reynolds, Rachel Reynolds, Harlie Hebert, Sterling Hebert; one brother, Richard Frank Ross; one sister, Lisa Carol Ross.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00AM at St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. Cremation is entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home from 3pm-8pm with an ACTS service at 4pm. Visitation will continue Monday from 8am until time of service.

Mrs. Lou was very near and dear to our hearts. She had the most loving and giving heart ever. She loved her Church and her family so much and it was very obvious. She will be missed by so many people. Our prayers are with the family. Doug Ronica Smith

Sabrina, It's been a while since I have seen you but I did keep up with you visiting with your mom. I am so sorry to have heard about your mother. She was such a wonderful person and I enjoyed having conversations with her. We are going thru the same grief right now also with the very unexpected death of our mom and sister within 30 days of each other – please know that you all are with us in our thoughts and in our prayers.
Sabrina, We are so sorry to hear about your mother. We didn't see it in the paper or we would have come to the visitation. We will be praying for your father and family. She was such a sweet lady. I know she will be missed by many.
