Mitchell Joseph Breaux

January 11, 1960 ~ October 28, 2023

Mitchell Joseph Breaux, 63, of Westlake went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Mr. Breaux was born on January 11, 1960 in Lake Charles and was raised and resided all of his life in Westlake.  He was a graduate of Westlake High School.  Mr. Breaux retired from Westlake Chemical Plant-North as an operator.

He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather.  Mitchell enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and spending time with family.

Mitchell is survived by his three children, Matthew Breaux (Bree) of Lake Charles, Michelle Breaux Koll (Dakota) of Lafayette, and Lucas Breaux (Karly) of Jennings; his three grandsons, Parker, Noah, and John Ross; his siblings, Cindy Breaux Bertrand (Robbie) of Moss Bluff and Keith Breaux (Carla) of Lake Charles; and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Modisette of Houston.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Breaux and Barbara LeBert.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake.  Father Jenesh Joseph will officiate.  Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery in Hathaway at 3:30 PM under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin in the church from 9:30 AM until the start of the rosary at 12:30 PM.
