Nicholas “Nick” Pizzolatto, Jr., 76, of Lake Charles, passed away November 10, 2023, at a local rehabilitation facility with family and loved ones by his side. Nick was born in Jennings, LA. on July 20, 1947, to Nicholas, Sr. and Suzanne Pizzolatto.

Nic had an infectious smile. A great guy and I am saddened hearing of his passing.
Suzanne(Nic),
Not sure if I have the right person, but did you teach at Westwood Elem. in Westlake? I know I’m suppose to know this family. Anyway, may God comfort each of you during this difficult time.

Condolences to his family and friends. Sorry to hear. As someone else has said he was a joy to be with. I will miss his gracious greetings and our fun filled conversations. Peace Nick.
Nick’s engaging personality, wit and friendship will be deeply missed. God bless Nick’s family as they find comfort in the knowledge that he’s comfortably resting in the arms of Jesus.
I remember my teammate as a highly competitive, extraordinary, hardworking athlete. His devilish humor and bright personality was always present. I believe he was a part of Bob Dawson’s gang of pranksters. Some great stories there. He will be greatly missed by his family and colleagues. Good by old friend.
Nick was a special person. He did a great deal for me and i will always be appreciative. My condolences to his beautiful family.
Nic, my prayers are with you and your family.

We were blessed to have Nick’s help in adopting our daughter 27 years ago. We remember his broad smile, personal warmth, sense of humor, and optimism. Nick worked tirelessly to sort through the challenges and always made us feel that things were going to turn out fine. He was a wonderful human being who changed the lives of so many people. He will be dearly missed. – Marilyn & Barnaby
