Paula Ann Morris Burke, 69, of Lake Charles passed away at 12:57 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in a local hospital.
Paula was born in Lake Charles, LA on December 6th, 1953 to parents, Robert and Inez Morris. Paula was a Louisiana Native and enjoyed many things in life. If you knew Paula you knew to love her.
Paula is survived by her son, Brian Burke; her brother, Darrell Morris; various nieces and nephews; and special friends: Haley Durr, Janice Dartez, Tonja Gaspard, Makenzie Cormier, and Keegan Matte.
Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Burke; parents. Robert and Inez Morris; sister-in-law, Susan Robinson Morris; and her beloved dogs.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Father Alan Trouille will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
