  1. Dear Aunt Edith, Ron, Kathy: All of you are so much in my heart. I love you guys very much and I am so sorry for your pain. Rick Ricky was a wonderful cousin to Brenda I. We so enjoyed his visits to Houston. He was always smart, witty and so funny. He always made me smile. When he was a teenager, he used to torment me, but in a good way. One time he held me upside down by my ankles to see if he could make the stuff in my pockets fall out. I would look at his expression and he had that devious look hed get. I knew then Id better run! But I always knew his was playing and would never hurt me. He was such a character and a joy to be around. As an adult, Rick was always the 1st one to help others and was happy to do so. I know he had many friends understandably so. I have many fond memories of Rick as a teenager adult. I loved him a lot he will be greatly missed. I will lift yall up in prayer. Love, Sharon

  2. Dear West family,It has been so long since I've seen all of you…but I remember the many days spent at your home with Ricky. Your home was always the hangout for all of his friends. I will miss him very much…its so hard to see a friend of 46 years leave this earth. God Bless each of you….Carl Thibodeaux

  3. It's just hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday that we were all out in the front yard playing on Taylor Street.

  4. My prayers go out to Ricky's family. I knew Ricky for 30 years he was a good man and a good friend. I will always remember our good times Ricky. May you Rest In Piece my friend.

  5. Our prayers go out to the West Family.Rick was a good friend of mine ever since our school years.I will especially remember our days fishing every where.Rest In Peace. David Petey Miles

  6. To the West Family: My husband and I were saddened when we saw Ricky had passed away. My husband grew up with Ricky, along with Wenn and Wayne Shidla, Sammy Giaimis, and Ricky at LaGrange High School. Ricky always had a great smile ALL the time! He was a genuine guy(which you don't find anymore!) and always made you laugh and then he would smile that beautiful smile. Thanks Ricky for all of the memories! With Love, The Aguillard's
