Robert Bobby Butterfield, Jr.

As the sun rose on September 3, 2010, Robert F. "Bobby" Butterfield, Jr., age 10, was called home into eternal rest.


Bobby was born in Lake Charles and lived in Sulphur with his parents, Robert F. "Bobby" Butterfield, Sr. and Peggy Peloquin Butterfield. He attended W.T. Henning Elementary School. He also attended Parkview Baptist where he was involved with third grade studies.


Bobby was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as attending garage sales.


He will be missed by his parents as well as his adopted maw-maw Ruth Walker of Westlake.


His maternal grandparents, Norris and Arsine Peloquin an uncle John Peloquin and aunt DeeAnna Lovett preceded him in death.


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles. The Rev. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will be in LeBlanc Cemetery in Midland. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home and will continue at the funeral home at 8:00 AM on Wednesday.

  10. My love and prayers are with you all. Bobby always had a smile on his face that would light up the room. I can still see him in the computer lab at Henning, getting so excited when he was doing work on the computer and he would get the answers right.

  11. My most favorite memory of Bobby Jr. He was about a 1 maybe 2. standing in his daddys seat in the truck next to his mommy and he was waving and justa talking away. he was the cuttest potatoe i had ever seen..
