Shaun Dudley Hebert was born Jan 9, 1978 in Abbeville, LA. He was the fourth of seven children born to Ronald James Sr. and Annette Hebert.

He was a southern raised gentleman, enjoying the simplicity found in Sportsman’s Paradise. Falling in the middle of his siblings, he was old enough to keep up with the eldest, and young enough to enjoy the youngest. Being from a large family taught him the strength found within, no one was alone, no matter the trial or tribulation.

He has been in the Sulphur Area for the past fifteen years and worked as an installer for Gilbert’s Carpet. You never questioned where you stood with him, he was loyal to a fault and honest to boot. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing the waters of the Gulf Coast from White Lake to Holly Beach.

He was welcomed into Heaven, Sunday, October 15, 2023 by his parents Ronald James Sr. and Annette Hebert; a brother in-law, Walter Williams; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory; a beloved daughter, Destiny Hebert of Crowley; three sisters, Troy Simon of Erath, Glenda Williams of Erath, Jennifer (Dane) Morgan of Maurice; three brothers, Ronnie Hebert of Maurice, Dwayne (Teresea) Hebert of Sulphur, and Cory Hebert of Lafayette; a brother in law , Carl Simon of Erath; three aunts, Audrey Prejean of Maurice, Catherine Walters of Mississippi, and Lisa Hebert of Maurice; eighteen nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and a sister in-law, Becky Hebert.

In respect to Shaun’s wishes, services are private and he will be laid to rest next to his mother in Delcambre.
