Memories Timeline

  1. Everything Sheree did she did for her children! One thing I will never forget is the shoes she bought for graduation! They tell a silent story of who Sheree is! I love you Sheree!

  2. How you twinkle little star,Yet I no longer wonder,Who or what you are,Nor wish I may or might,On this star I see tonight,Yet as I linger on your past,My heart breaks sore thinking,Of the moments that were your last,How your vivid brilliance,Darkened by yesterdays evil,And bright tomorrows… nevermore,Robbed life of your lively smile,And positive cheer that carried,Any weary soul onto extra miles.Your garden of sunshine and stars,Now faded below and risen above,For all the world to see your light. No words can express how we wish,May and might on that star tonight,To have you here amid our lives,Warmly touching our cores,Mothering your sweet childrens souls,Wishing you the very best,Supporting your heart of gold,Buttoo soonwe knowWe have to let you go.So, Sherees Star gracefully shine on,Way up high, above youll fly,Let your light so shine,In the sweet by and by 2011 Nichele (Dedicated to Sheree and the full life of achievements and all of her friends who will sorely miss her. May all your hearts heal over the long period of time it will take to recover from such a loss)

  6. I met Sheree a little over a year ago when my Mother became a resident of Resthaven Nursing Home. I truly enjoyed seeing her smiling face and laughing with her at each visit. Most of all, her caring attitude and kind heart was undeniable. She was always available to help in any way and she truly cared for the residents…. They were not just a name on a piece of paper to her…she worked hard for her degree and it was apparent she was in the right field. We are thankful and grateful for the help and friend she was to my Mother and to me.My mother, Daisy Fontenot (92 yrs. old), and I will miss her very much and we want all of you to know how sorry we are for your loss. Sheree talked about her children and family with love. May all of you celebrate her life and always remember the good times. You will be in our prayers.

  7. I spent the past year of RN school getting to know what a beautiful, caring, and encouraging person Sheree was…inside and out! She always had a smile on her face regardless of what was going on. Sheree, you will be forever missed my sweet friend, but always know you will NEVER be forgotten! We now know our Mighty Savior has released you of all your hidden pains…you are now a beautiful Angel in no more pain….like the song says, there will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears; there will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, and you'll see Jesus face to face.. I love you always and one day we will be together again. RIP my friend….

  8. I was the next door neighbor and even though we did not talk I will miss seeing you and the children outside playing. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I also wanted to say to Mr. Jayden you are a brave young man and I feel your pain that you have being that I lost my mom the same way. I will always keep you in mind and just know that the LORD is watching over you all.

  11. My favorite memory of Sheree was the day she passed HESI..what a wonderful day that was!! I will forever remember her contagious smile! She will be missed and the Lord will have one heck of an RN in Heaven!!Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted– Jesus Christ on the Mount, Matthew 5:4

  12. My heart constantly aches of your passing but i also know you are dancing with angels right now…I will miss your beautiful smile how you loved to laugh make others laugh. We were so close in high school even though we were miles apart throughout the years we always found our way back and you have never left my heart. I will continuously pray for your beautiful children and your family and although we will never know the why I know God is a good God and he has called you home and so home is where you shall go. I love you Sheree and may you rest in peace…

  13. Sheree worked in our office briefly in 2007. She was a delight! I will never forget her smile and her love for her children. May God hold her precious children in his hands and comfort her family as only He can do.

  14. Sheree, I found this poem just for you. To celebrate the nurse in you….Lily of The ValleyBy Paul Lawrence Dunbar. Sweetest of the flowers a bloomingIn the fragrant vernal days,Is the Lily-of-the-ValleyWith its soft retiring ways.Well, you chose this humble blossom,As the Nurse's emblem flowerWho grows more like her ideaEvery day and every hour.Like the Lily-of-the-ValleyIn her honesty and worth -Oh! She blooms in truth and virtueIn the humble works of earth.Though she stands erect in honorWhen the heart of mankind bleeds,Still she hides her own deservingIn the beauty of her deeds. In the silence and the darkness, When no eye may see or know, There her footsteps shod with mercy and fleet kindness, come and go.Not amid the sound of plaudits,Not before the garish day; Does she shed her soul's sweet perfume, Does she take her gentle way. But alike her ideal flower, With its honey-laden breath; Still her heart blooms forth its beautyIn the valley shades of death. Rest in PeaceSheree Lynn CruzSept. 1 1972 to May 21 2011

  15. Sheree, I love you and miss your smile, I have a purse that I had just gotten for you, that I will always cherish now, and never give away. I put my RN pin on it and plan for it just to stay there. You were stolen from us and your children, but your memory and spirit will always be with everyone who's life u touched

  16. There are no words that can explain how much I miss you. I cant remember apart of my life that you were not involved in. 17. We at Heart Vascular Center are so saddened by Sheree's death. We enjoyed working with her and getting to know her. She had a warm personality and cared deeply for her friends and family. We were so proud of her accomplishing her RN degree as she we knew she would be a very caring and compassionate nurse. Please know her family is in our thoughts and prayers.Karen Kleinman, Practice Director, Heart Vascular Center

  18. We met Sheree in Nov 2009. She was my Mom's nurse, Ella Venable at Resthaven. It was quite obvious Sheree loved her family very much and loved being a nurse. We were so proud of her becoming an RN.Anytime we had a concern we could go to Sheree and she would do everything in her power to fix it.We all loved her very much and she will be missed greatly. She always had a smile and kind words for all the residents and their families. She always spoke of her children with such love and affection. It made us feel as if we knew them personally. We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. I know this is a very difficult time in your lives, but turn to Jesus and he will get you through this.
