Memories Timeline

  1. I just wanted to send my condolences to the family.Stephen and I were friends since we were kids. Wish I had known he was receiving care at Tulane. I live very close and would have visited him.

  2. I met Steve when I bought the Gerard Home in Lake Charles. He had taken care of Mrs. Gerard's pool for years and was highly recommended by the family. I have young boys and I could not afford Steve to come every week. He was so nice he came over and showed me everything I needed to know to care for my pool. I would call him and he would come over when it was something major I could not handle. I really liked him as he was so cool. We hit it off right away (after I offered him a beer). I am sorry for you loss as I thought very highly of him. I also loved reading the American Press article about Steve and his wife during the McNeese days. Again, sorry for your loss.Billy Pharr

  3. I was a neighbor of the Guillory family years ago on Dolby Street and have fond memories of the whole family – Ginger was my babysitter for years. My prayers are with you all. I wish peace for each of you. Angela

  4. My heart is saddened at the news of this loss. I was employed by Steve at Gulf Coast Pools for several years back in the early 80's. It was one of the best times of my life. Steve was a good guy with a huge heart and made work a lot of fun. Ms. Guillory was a great lady that loved the Lord. Praise God! May he rest in peace and I will cover this family in prayer.

  5. Our prayers go out to the Guillory Family.Steve was one of my best friends who would come give a hand no matter what.We had some great times while traveling across the country working and those are times I will never forget. If you guys ever need anything just let us know and we will come give you a hand just like Steve did for everybody. ,David Petey Miles
