Steven D. Thornhill, 36 of Lake Charles, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Steven was born on April 15, 1986, in Lancaster, California to Hardy and Jacqueline Thornhill. He honorably and faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Steven was such a loving son and friend to many.

Those left to cherish his memories; Parents; Hardy and Jacqueline Thornhill, brothers; David and John Thornhill, Uncle; James Cousineau, Aunts; Michelle Cousineau, Nikki Cousineau, and Jayna Ringo.

He was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents; Hardy and Eileen Thornhill, Grandparents; Gregg and Darlene Ringo. Uncle; Troy Cousineau, Dale Cousineau, Rick Cousineau, and Aunt; Ellie Torres.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Aaron Lopez will officiate.  Burial with military honors will follow in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.  The visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
