She was my Mom and Dad's friend, but ever since that night, she was also a family friend. She was there for me when I lost my son. And she was there for me when I married the best man in my life. 17. Terry and I were in the same LCHS graduating class of 1964. For our 40th high school reunion Terry found out that I did not have a place to stay in Lake Charles other than a motel room since my parents were deceased and the family home was rectntly sold. Although Terry and I had not kept up with each other since graduation, she contacted me and asked that I stay with her for the week-end reunion. I gratefully accepted b/c it was emotionally hard on me not to be in a home for my 1st return trip to LC once our family home was sold. Bruce was equally gracious to hosting me,this stranger, whom he did not know. I remember Terry had just canned some figs from her yard. Her recommendation was to put them on ice cream which we did and they were so delicious. Terry was all heart. She was also really good about sending e-mails to me updating me on our classmates. I will miss her.

  18. Terry bowled on the Ladies Nite Out league on Wednesday nights for a number of years. Her team was called the Sweet Peas, but believe me these sweet little ladies could put a hurting on any team they bowled. We enjoyed having them on our league and we were very disappointed when they left the league. Whoever said dynamite comes in small packages must have been talking about Terry! She was spunky and full of life and always had a smile on her face. I know her bowling team is going to miss her as well as all of the other bowlers that had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful lady. Rest in Peace Terry, You will be missed!!!

  19. Terry was a very special person. I never saw her angry or upset. She was so kind and thoughtful with other people. I will never forget the many kind and genrous things she did for my family. They loved her as did all of those who were privileged to know her. Her consideration of others was heart warming. Knowing her was an inspiration to me. We will miss her so much.
