Tony Robert Deshotels, age 30, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010.

A resident of Lake Charles, Tony died doing what he loved best, fishing. Tony was also known as a hard worker. A very loyal Saints and LSU fan, Tony couldn't wait for game days to come. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Preceding him in death was his father, Joseph Bert Deshotels.

Survivors include his loving mother, Suzanne "Sue" Deshotels and companion, Earl Mouton of both of Lake Charles; his siblings, Terry Foster, Tammy Heil, and Patty Foster all of Ohio, Jeff Deshotels and Lisa Deshotels both of Texas, and Duane Deshotels of Florida; and an aunt, Debbie Bogart of Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Fuselier will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. prior to the service. Tony was cremated.

  2. I am truly sorry for your lose. Tony was a good friend, and ya'll have always been like family to us. If there is anything ya'll need, please do not hestitate to call. Our prayers are with ya'll.

  3. I fell in love with tony in high school and I still love him to this day. It breaks my heart that I will never get to see his smile or hear is laugh again but I know he will still be with me in spirit.To miss Sue I am so sorry I could not be there for the services I am still takeing care of my youngest daughter in north louisiana. I will keep you and all of your family in my prayers and I hope to maybe call or come by when I get back that way.

  5. I went to school with Lisa, Jeff, and Duane…I first met Tony when he was 3 years old….Sue I am so sorry for your loss; Lisa, Duane, and Jeff i am sorry and my heart breaks for all of you.
