  8. Mike and family, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I have fond memories of seeing your Mom and Dad and visiting with them at church through the years when I was home. One of my last memories of your Dad is on the morning of my Dad's funeral (3/2007), when Mom insisted on being early to not miss any visitors. Your Dad was in the front of the chapel at Johnson's. He told us he had just returned from out of town and seen Dad's obituary, and came immediately for visitation, which meant so much to Mom and I. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  9. Mike,John, Patricia,We are so sorry about your dad's death. We have always enjoyed being with him and talking with him. He was always a lot of fun to be with and always a proud dad and proud of us too. Michael's on call from now 'til the Monday night and can't be with you. I will stopping by this evening. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

  10. My deepest sympathy to all the family in the passing of Joe. I learned of his death last night while reading my local newspaper here in New Iberia. I am saddened by his passing but do know that he is now in the presence of our Lord Almighty and much better off than we can ever imagine. I will be praying for you all that God comfort you as the days go by.

  11. The world is a lesser place now, with the passing of Mr. East. There are simply too many memories to recall, as I have know him for a great deal of my life. Suffice to say that I am sorry to see him pass and wish only the best for those he left behind. God bless.

  12. To the family, Laura and the children,we were so sorry to hear about Joe, we will miss his laugh, smile, jokes, guidiance and frienship. We are having masses said for Joe, for he can't smell flowers but masses will help him now.
