Wallace Bubby Carleton Pierce Iii

Wallace "Bubby" Carleton Pierce, III, 58, of Lake Charles, LA died at 4:45 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the home of his father Wallace Carleton Pierce, Jr. and his step-mother, Carol Stacy Pierce.

Wallace was born May 4, 1953 in New Orleans and was a life time resident of Lake Charles. He was a student of LaGrange High School and worked in the Lake Area as a mechanic for forty years.

He is survived by his father, Wallace "Web" Carleton Pierce, Jr.; two brothers,, Donald Pierce of Lake Charles and Kenneth Pierce of Chloe; two sisters, Kathy Mixon and brother-in-law, Russell Mixon of Chloe and Sandy Yelverton and brother-in-law, Clark Yelverton of Lake Charles; nephews, Tre' Mixon and Matt Mixon of Chloe, Justin Yelverton and Kenneth Pierce, Jr. of Lake Charles; nieces, Amy Walker of Alexandria and Marion Newsom of Birmingham, AL; great-nephews, Hayden Walker of Alexandria and Carson Mixon of Chloe and great-nieces, Heidi Walker of Alexandria and Belle Mixon of Chloe.

Wallace was preceded in death by his mother, Marion White Pierce; and two brothers, Steven and Frank Pierce.

His memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
