  5. I will treasure through my living years, the joy I experienced when I discovered this REAL Cajun lady, Wanda Landreneau who could sing like a bird and talk enough Cajun beetween us that we could laugh at ourselves and our poor antiquated and maltreated language to the point of hilarity. Although I never met her in real life, I found that she, like myself was proud to be a Cajun. She loved her husband and family and she was proud of her heritage. She was a jewel and a lady that my wife and I was proud to call Friend. She is gone, but she will be forever in our minds and in our hearts.. No doubt she is entertaining Our Savior with her singing inside the Golden Gates of Heaven now.. She will be sorely missed here.
