Yolande LaMotte Rossitto, 91, of Lake Charles, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in her home.
Mrs. Rossitto was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and has lived the past sixty-one years in Lake Charles. She was a graduate of McNeese State University and had been a teacher with the Calcasieu Parish School Board since 1968.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Coco Rossitto and Ronnie Rossitto, both of Lake Charles; five grandchildren; Brian Rossitto, Erica Rossitto-Seidenberg and husband Josh, Angela Rossitto-Schumaker and husband David, Anthony "Tony" Rossitto and Alexa Rossitto, and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, and Ava. She is also survived by a sister, Huguette Barbeau of Canada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Rossitto.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Saturday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Whitney Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, with a scripture service at the funeral home at 6:30 PM Friday.

Ronnie and Family,Your mother was a dear friend and co-worker for many years at J.I.Watson in Iowa. We had a lot of good times and I will always cherish our friendship. She was a great lady.
