Aaron Joseph O’Donnell, 48, passed away on January 20,2 026, in West Monroe, LA. Aaron was born in Sulphur, LA and went to Sulphur High School and lived here for half his life. He lived in West Monroe the last decade and worked as security for the correctional facility a few months before his passing. He enjoyed rock music and bits of country. Aaron was a gamer and enjoyed anime. He was a monitor in one of the game rooms he frequented. Aaron had no children of his own but loved his nieces and nephews very much. He was peaceful and kept to himself most of the time and felt things deep. Most of all his mother will miss his frequent phone calls. Aaron was also an animal lover owning cats and dogs.
Aaron is survived by his mother Angela Davidson; grandmother, Myrtis Davidson; sister, Amanda O’Donnell; brothers, Michael O’Donnell and wife Nicole and Ronald O’Donnell; aunts and uncles, Carol Bryant, Elerang and Michael Jones, Jocelyn and Kirby Vincent, Tammy and Jerald Johnson, Pauline and Guy Stansel and Glenda Davidson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee O’Donnell; uncles Adam William Davidson and Braxford Bryant, Jr.; grandfather, Adam William Davidson; niece, Cassie Nicole Brockman; and nephew, Drake Emmette Brockman.
Services for Aaron will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 1 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at Farquhar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service.
