Adam Joseph Chaisson
October 13, 1934 — February 10, 2022
Adam J. Chaisson, born in Pine Island on October 13, 1934, son of the late Walter and Laura (Iguess) Chaisson, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the age of 87.
Adam was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was owner operator of Chaisson Trucking. He was a member of the W & L Riders Club and enjoyed riding, raising horses and being with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Poly Chaisson; Wilson Chaisson; LeRoy Chaisson; Wilton Chaisson; Wilma Manuel, and Mary Chaisson.
Survivors are his sons, Darnel Chaisson (Bethanie Dawn Miller); Duke Chaisson (Tina Boudreaux); grandson, Justin Adam Chaisson; son of his heart, Tommy Hoover (Debbie); sister; Betty Hudson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Aubrey Guilbeaut officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is Sunday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and will resume Monday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
