Lake Charles – Alan Paul Daley, born in Lake Charles on August 4, 1961, son of Robert Paul and Ruth Marie (Conner) Daley, passed away June 14, 2021, at the age of 59.
Alan, a graduate of Barbe was a self-employed roofing contractor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, martial arts, and being with family, especially his grandchildren.
Alan loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his faith with others. He was a member of Livingway.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Alan is survived by his daughters, Leah Daley; Sara Story (Alec); mother, Ruth Daley; siblings, Jeff Daley; Mark Daley (Melissa); Deborah Faul (Keith); Matthew Daley (Rhonda); grandchildren, Declan; Lydian; Irelyn and Corbin Story and the mother of his children, Brigette Daley.
Funeral services will be held in Livingway on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Lyn Story officiating. Private burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the church at 11 a.m.
