Lake Charles –Albert Joseph Steven, born February 18, 1933, son of the late Alex Steven and Marie Trahan, passed away in his residence, Friday, January 4, 2019, at the age of 85.
He was a security guard for various industries and served in the U. S. Army. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and gardening.
Albert is survived by his wife, Barbara Steven; sibling, Hilda S. Broussard, Anna Mae Guidry, Curley Steven; step-son, Wayne Soileau; step-daughters, Donna Moore, Angela Soileau, Rebecca Rea; step-grandchildren, Destiny Moore, Jennifer Soileau (Johnny Burton). He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Emmery Steven; Wilda Felice; Mary Alice Steven.
A Gathering of friends and family is Friday, January 11, 2019 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery of Elton.
