Alexis Nichole Anderson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alexis Nichole Anderson, who left us on August 1, 2025, at the age of 31. Born on July 14, 1994, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Alexis was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She grew up surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, with a deep love for the woods and trees that brought her joy. 

Alexis was the cherished daughter of John and Tammy Anderson and a loving mother to her son, Daxton Deshotel. She also leaves behind her brother, Kevin Anderson, and fiancé, Datin Deshotel. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the hearts of many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will remember her with affection and gratitude. She was preceded in death a brother, Blake Anderson, grandparents, John and Wanda Anderson as well as James and Shirley Lisenba. Alexis worked as a salesclerk, where her warm smile and friendly nature made a lasting impression on both customers and colleagues. 

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Alexis's life at her funeral service, which will be held on August 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Before the service, there will be a visitation starting at 11:00 AM, allowing those who knew and loved her to pay their respects. Following the service, Alexis will be cremated, with her ashes to be held close by her family.
