Alexis Grace Mercer

LeBleu Settlement-Alexis G. Mercer, 3, became our angel on Monday, February 9, 2015.
Alexis was born February 1, 2012 to Casey Scott Mercer and Angelic Nicole Savoy. She was a very smart girl who loved school, cartoons, nana juice, chocolate milk and snacks. Alexis gave the best “muah’s” and loved taking care of her brother and sister.
She is survived by her mom and dad; brother, James Raymond Mercer; sister, Avery Fall Mercer; grand-parents, John “Pop-Pop” & Belinda Brashear, Charles Walsh & Marlene Savoy; great-grand-parents, Chris & Rose Breaux, Edward & Lillian Hargrave and her Uncle “Yonnie”, Buster & Betty Brashear, Doris Corbello; god-parents, Kyle Mercer, Patrick Schexnider, Kassi Savell and Ashley Kelly; uncles, Kade Brashear, Kyle Mercer; Justin & Josh Savoy; aunts, Tanya Savell, Ashley Kelly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Father Bennie Wego officiating. Burial will follow in LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Friday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Paul Cavenah. Pallbearers assisting in her service are, Kyle Mercer, Patrick Schexnider, Justin & Josh Savoy. Honorary pallbearers are Kade Brashear and Derek Walters.
