Alfred "Al" Brame

Alfred Brame, 83, of Lake Charles, LA died Friday, October 16, 2015 in a local hospital. Alfred was born on August 16, 1932 in Lake Charles, LA to Oddis and Emma Brame. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Alfred enjoyed cooking, gardening, and LSU football. He was a LSU graduate, general contractor, and 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Brame of Lake Charles, LA; four children, Scott Brame, Kirk Brame and wife Gail, Kaye Martin all of Lake Charles, LA and Leah Rudek and husband Norbert of Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Jones Brame and one step son, Ernest Lins. Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Sister Jeanette and Rev. Dennis Pippin will officiate services. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
