Alfred Chavis

Alfred Joseph Chavis passed December 2, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Hospital.

Alfred was born December 26, 1954 to the late Beatrice and Alvin Chavis.

He leaves two children, Alvin and Tenesha Chavis-Davis of Missouri City, TX; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and four sisters.

Mr. Chavis is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and four brothers.

A Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven at 12 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens will follow the service. Father Matthew Cormier will officiate. Visitation will begin at Johnson Funeral Home at 9 am Saturday morning with a rosary at 10 am.
