Alfredo Jesus Pena, Jr., born in Victoria, Texas on June 15, 1968, son of Alfredo and Lucynina Lopez Pena, Sr., passed away unexpectedly in a local hospital on May 20, 2025, at the age of 56.
Alfredo was a graduate of Mathis High School in Mathis, Texas and worked in sales for Martin Freightliner.
In his spare time, Alfredo enjoyed going to the casino with his wife, fishing with his grandchildren, and playing cards with his family. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and working out.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Pena.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Jodi Lee Simmons Pena; children, Freddy Pena (Ariel), Alexis Pena (Jamarcus Anderson), and Jason Pena; parents, Alfredo and Lucy Pena, Sr.; siblings, Belinda Pena, and Larry Pena; grandchildren, Austin, Ayden, Ashytn and Amelia Anderson, Karter, Damian, and Remi Pena; and beloved grand-cat, Sylvester.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 3 p.m. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Visitation will continue after the service until 5 p.m. Cremation will follow the gathering under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
