Hayes – Alice Mae Manuel, born in Jennings on May 31, 1947, daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Broussard Leger, passed away September 25, 2024, at the age of seventy-seven.
Alice enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors are her children, Jessica LeBleu, and Ricky Manuel (Vickie); sister, Darlene Huval; grandchildren, Kayla Bergeron, Paul LeBleu, Julius LeBleu; great-grandchildren, Krislynn Giovanni, Taylor Giovanni, Bellah Bergeron, Skylar LeBleu.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Eric Manuel; great granddaughter, Neighla Giovanni; brothers, Bertman Leger, Michael Leger, Jeffery “Buck” Leger.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 3 p.m., Paula Raley, Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A gathering of friends and family will begin in the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m.
