Lake Charles – Alice Thomas, 90, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family, July 17, 2017.
Alice was born in Ville Platte on March 29, 1927. She attended Glad Tiding Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors are her children, Judith Thomas, Tyrone Thomas; grandchildren, Tiffany Clophus (Wilfred, Jr.), Lynette Darbone (Andre), Chasity Thomas (Jeffery Chretien, Jr.); 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Orise Thomas, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Thomas; parents, Odea Lavine and Laura Clark.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Evers officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park. Visitation is Saturday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be sent to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
