Allan Ross Wilhelm

Allan Ross Wilhelm, 70, of Lake Charles died, March 09, 2019 in a local hospital.

Mr. Wilhelm was born in Beaumont, TX and lived most of his life in the Lake Charles area.   He was a graduate of LaGrange High School.    He served the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked most of his life Auto sales and mechanics in the Lake area and for a few years, owned his own repair and mechanic shop.  His passion was classic muscle cars, working on them, going to car shows and races and watching auctions.  He also enjoyed camping.

He leaves to honor is memory, and the love of his life, Myrna Ogea of Iowa; his daughter, Jennifer Wilhelm Hayes of Knoxville, TN; son, Jonathan Ross of Lake Charles and three sisters, Alana Mahou of French Gulch, CA, Chelle Casper of Colt, AR and Marci Alpha of Lake Charles.  He also leaves his extended family, Ricky Ogea II and his daughter, Ashlynn Ogea of Iowa.

In respect of his wishes, cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home.
